How boring would it be
to be a fish not swimming free,
To just sit there
and never go anywhere?
And man, to be a crab in a cage
without anyone knowing your age.
Or to be a big smelly dog
getting put on a leash for a jog.
Animals are neat, but sometimes smell
and always manage to snag you in their spell.

just something I kinda threw together a LONG time ago (11-3-04 to be exact) and found last night when I went to scribble down some words again

The rhyming sounds a little forced (particularly the last two lines) and the flow glitches every now and then, but I like the theme. Very cute :nod
