OK so this is going to be my entry for the new contest on 
It's a digital piece I did in photoshop that is pretty space like as well as a bit ethereal. I chose to do this because I've always been fascinated by the stars. My dreams are in the stars, though I will probably never leave the planet earth, possibly not even the North American continent, I still think about astronomy. It's The Last Frontier and unexplored territory. One of my favorite quotes has ALWAYS inspired me: Shoot for the moon, even if you miss you'll land amongst the stars.
It's one of those quotes for me that just speaks volumes about going for it.
I love astronomy! This is a passion next to art and I know it is because when I pick up an astronomy magazine or book, my heart skips a beat with excitement. I open the pages and I read EVERYTHING1 I soak it all in and do my best to understand as much of it as possible! And when I talk to someone about it, I'm pretty sure I come off as a bit of a geek, but I don't notice! It's just one of those things in my life that rips my breath away with amazement. So astronomy and the ever expanding, unexplored frontier of space mean a lot to me, they give me a bigger, more magical world to dream in, a great quote to live by and so much to learn about!
